Key Design Features

Improved Call 2 Action

A clear and simple call to action is critical on every page of your website. It's especially important on pages that sell your services or products. In this example the call to action comprises a freephone 0800 number, a clickable email address (that opens up a pre-addressed and titled email) and a brief contact form, in short something for everyone. The email link and form both have junk mail contermeasures in place to help ensure that only ligitimate enquiries are coming through.

Improved Navigation

Navigation must be clear and understandable. Links need to look like links and drop down menus need to be well organised.

The content of the site must be arranged in a logical way. Unless there is some particularly compelling reason not to, the website should adhere to popular design conventions, after all they're popular for a reason.

It's important to remember that your visitors don't know what to expect when they arrive at your site so if it's not obvious and clear there's a chance they'll not find what they're looking for and you'll miss the opportunity to make a sale.
